The other extreme from the Martha syndrome is a fake Mary syndrome, which is laziness and apathy dressed as piety.

The balance is that at some point Mary will rise up and tell people what she saw at the feet of Jesus. She may do it in flurry like Martha but the energy will be focused and poised not flustered and chaotic.
