Calling Reveille!

September 25, 2010

OK, tomorrow is Sunday! You think you had a rough week? Jesus was crucified but rose from the dead on Sunday fo you. You can surely rise from the bed on Sunday for Him! Most of us get up at O dark 30 for work everyday. If you sleep in until 8 on Sunday you slept in. AWOL is unacceptable! Hoo-ah!!!!

Else I Die!!!!

September 24, 2010

Oh that more Christian women would cry out for a quiver full like Rachel!

Gen 30:1
30:1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die. KJV

Even more so should Christians cry out for spiritual children instead of refusing to cast forth their seed that it might find root in a heart that needs it badly!!

Too Many Books!

September 19, 2010

As I sit here pondering, I believe that one reason this age is missing out so much on knowing God is that we spend too much time reading other people’s books and not His. Why spend so much time with other people’s stuff when you can go right to the Source? You have the same Book and the same Spirit so read and let Him speak to you. I have written two books and tonight I regret it for I have added to the distraction from the Word!

Liberty?

September 6, 2010

The Church had more influence on the world when Christians lived by “when in doubt don’t” than they do now changing it to “when in doubt, do.”

Rom 14:14-15:3

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Romans 15

1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. KJV

Leaving Church Hungry?

September 2, 2010

Hmm, so many say they are not getting fed at church. I wonder if it is because they will not work neither shall they eat can be applied on the spiritual level as well as the physical.

2 Thess 3:10-12

10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work , neither should he eat.
11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. KJV
