Computers For The Blind

July 12, 2014

Dear friends and colleagues, today I met with members of the board of Computers for the Blind.  We had a very good conversation about this organization and its goals.   I am very excited about this organization as one would expect for an IT person and minister.   I firmly believe they are doing a marvelous work and are worthy of any support you can give them.

The need is increasing and thus so also is the need for resources.  If you live in the area, consider volunteering your time and if you are not in the area consider a donation.  Computer technology is changing rapidly so businesses and individuals refresh their equipment regularly.  What is legacy or out of date equipment for you might well be the ideal thing a blind or low vision may need to give them access to a world they would not know without it.  Many of these people are low income and the cost of equipment as well as the various software would be more than most could afford.

CFTB expands their vision by providing what they need to not be isolated due to their disability.  Please consider donating your older equipment to them. Send this message to the IT department or the CFO of your organization asking them to consider CFTB during their next refresh.  I am providing the link to their site below.  Will you be eyes to the blind?

As always, thank you for your time and consideration!

Sincerely,

Dr. Ronald Shultz, ThD, PC+

Job 29:15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. KJV
